Technology-Enabled Language Leaning: Mediating Role of Collaborative Learning

Background. Technology-Enabled Language learning (TELL) encourages peer communication and collaboration through its innovative instructional methods. Collaborative student activities are recognised as an important component of the approach higher education, More recently, collaborative in conjunction with digital teaching tools has emerged a preferred SLA pedagogical approach. Despite growing interest TELL, research into effects on affective factors remains unexplored.
 Purpose. The aim proposed study is to identify influencing behavioral intention students use WhatsApp for second language acquisition. Constructs from previous models: performance expectancy, effort perceived relevance (UTAUT) tested, along mediating role new variable ‘collaborative learning’.
 Methods. Using convenience sampling technique, sample comprises 202 undergraduates studying Institutes Rajasthan, India. Data collected Google forms was analyzed IBM SPSS ver. 26 Smart-PLS 3.2.9, using structural equation modeling.
 Results. A positive significant relationship established between all selected constructs. indirect were positive, yet less than direct effects. Moreover, partially effect collaborating affirmed. Empirical data confirms that acts enhancing SLA.
 Conclusion. present makes original contribution studies by analysing predictors. Such systematic understanding topic can assist instructors designing robust future techniques.
